Another month, another awesome collection of inspirational photo work
February was one of our biggest Your Best Shot contests ever. We were well over the 2,500 photo mark and the pool was full of great images including landscapes, portraits and terrific black and white images. Take a peak through and get inspired.

And somehow managed to miraculously survive

Fujifilm Finepix S1 Pro, 2000

Fujifilm called the S1 (based on the Nikon N60) a pro camera, but it was the first interchangeable-lens DSLR with a price (about $3,500) and feature set that made it accessible to serious amateur photographers. It was joined by the Canon EOS D30 (not the 30D) later in 2000, and the prosumer DSLR market was established.
